2. Bob Marley's last studio album before his tragic demise is a melodic merging of aware, political material with a lighter skanking beat as opposed to the traditional roots, Rasta heavier beat. Al Anderson's electric guitar is used a lot too, emphasising the close relationship Marley always had with the electric guitar and how he was prepared to /5().

5. Uprising would be the final studio album featuring Bob Marley & the Wailers to be released during Marley's lifetime. Prophetically, it also contains some of the band's finest crafted material, as if they were cognizant that this would be their final outing.

7. Bob Marley's last album released during his lifetime, so I can't help but listen to it with that in mind. I have over a dozen Marley albums, and I don't think "Uprising" is even in my top I don't find the majority of the songs here as memorable or as stirring as those from his earlier albums.
